We collect information directly from you when you register and interact with our Services, depending on whether you register as a Venue or a Band/Performer.

A. Account & Identity Information

• Venues: Business or venue name, email address, password, physical location/address, logo, photos/videos, website URL, and social media handles.
• Bands & Performers: Band or performer name, email address, password, physical location, phone number, profile pictures, media uploads (photos, videos), website URL, and social media handles.

B. Tax & Payment Information

• W-9 Forms & Tax Data: To facilitate payments processed outside of the app, we require users (such as bands or independent contractors) to upload Form W-9 or provide taxpayer identification details (e.g., Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number).
• External Payment Profiles: We collect payment routing profile details (e.g., preferred payout methods, account names, or handles) to allow venues to pay performers directly outside the Gigboost platform.

C. Third-Party Authentication Services

If you choose to register or log in using third-party single sign-on (SSO) services, we collect information provided by those providers in accordance with their privacy settings:

• Apple Login: We receive your name and the email address associated with your Apple ID (or a relay email address if you select Apple’s “Hide My Email” option).
• Google Login: We receive your name, email address, and profile picture associated with your Google account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly to operate, support, and improve the Gigboost platform:

• To Provide and Maintain Services: Facilitate account creation, user authentication, profile creation, and agreement or show coordination between Venues and Bands.
• To Facilitate Off-App Payments & Tax Compliance: Enable venues and performers to coordinate payouts outside the app using provided payment profiles and securely store W-9 forms for tax reporting and compliance purposes.
• To Display Public Profiles: Show media content (photos, videos, logos) and display website and social media links on public/platform profiles to help venues and performers discover and evaluate each other.
• To Communicate with You: Send system notifications, account updates, customer support messages, and transactional alerts (via email or phone/SMS).
• To Secure the Platform: Detect, prevent, and address fraud, unauthorized access, or technical issues.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or sensitive tax information to third parties.

We share data only in the following necessary platform interactions and circumstances:

• Platform Profile Visibility: Media (images, videos, logos), social media/website links, and general location details are publicly visible on your profile to other users on the platform.
• Booking & Payment Coordination: Necessary contact details and payment profile information are shared between matched Venues and Bands to execute digital agreements and complete payouts outside the app.
• Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party cloud hosting, database management, encrypted storage providers, and authentication services. These vendors are bound by strict confidentiality and security obligations.
• Legal Requirements & Tax Reporting: W-9 information and related records may be disclosed to government authorities (such as the IRS) or as required by law, court order, or legal process.

4. Protection of Sensitive Tax Information

W-9 forms contain sensitive personal identifiers (including SSNs or EINs). Gigboost LLC employs heightened administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including data encryption in transit and at rest, specifically designed to restrict access to tax documents and protect them against unauthorized disclosure or loss.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access & Update: You can update or correct your profile information, media, links, and contact details directly within the app settings.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account, media uploads, and associated personal data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account), or request deletion by contacting us at the support email below. (Note: Certain tax records and transactional documentation may be retained as required by law).
• Third-Party Permissions: You can manage or revoke access to third-party login providers (Apple or Google) through your account settings on those respective platforms.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete the data.
